The Marina Militarel Special Warefare teams required a way for crowns to stay locked and prevent water from entering the case while performing missions. The Fifty Five Fathoms recreation of the Italian Navy Diver faithfully reproduces this timepiece in a 45mm (316L) case size. Powering the watch is a manual wind ST3600 movement with 3-Days of power reserve similar to the original. The dial has a painted Marina Militare marking signifying use with the Italian Navy. We have made some improvements such as using a scratch resistant sapphire crystal for better protection. The watch is pressure tested to 300 meters to ensure performance in and out of the water.
